Meet Kathy Baldwin

Author, Podcast Host, Truth-Teller,

& Systems Visionary.

I didn’t set out to be an author or a podcaster. I set out to survive.

My life was marked by loss, grief, and reinvention long before I ever wrote the words Unlearn the Crap. I know what it feels like to sit in the ashes of what you thought your life would be, to question everything you believed about yourself, about relationships, about success.

There were days I was holding it all together on the outside while I was crumbling on the inside.

Days where the old programming — the C.R.A.P. (Conditioned Responses, Automatic Programming) — told me to stay small, stay quiet, stay safe. But silence is its own kind of prison, and I knew if I didn’t face my truth, I’d never be free.

Unlearning my crap wasn’t a single moment of clarity. It was messy. It was raw. It was facing grief head-on, dismantling illusions, and learning to stop hiding behind strength. I had to unlearn not just the stories handed down to me, but also the patterns wired into my body, my mind, and my choices.

And in that process, I built frameworks that actually worked. Not empty affirmations. Not surface-level advice. Systems that helped me reclaim my voice, rewire my brain, heal my body, and live in alignment with who I really am.

That’s why I write. That’s why I podcast. That’s why I build systems.

Because I know women don’t need more platitudes — they need tools. They need someone who’s walked through the fire and can hand them a map, not a motivational poster.

Today, my mission is simple: help women unlearn what holds them back, reclaim their sovereignty, and create lives that feel like their own.

If you are struggling with past experiences or inner conflict then you need to read this book! If you feel like you’re not good enough or you’re not worth it, you need to read this book! If you are not able to forgive or forget past experiences or people you need to read this book! I struggle with all three of the above circumstances and I can’t believe how much Kathy’s book has helped me to understand what the internal conflict is all about and how I might be able to restore my energy and emotions to it’s correct stance. Take a chance on yourself and read this book. You will be amazed how it will change your life. ♥️💕🙏

WOW!!!! Kathy Baldwin taps into our emotions and belief systems without sugar coating anything! She explains perfectly all of this information and even gives actionable steps and exercises as well within this book to help you in various areas of your life! I learned how much disfunction and lies I was internally believing about myself, and ways to work on these areas! Kathy explains the brain like no other and backs up what she says with scientific proof! I was convicted and resonated with more in this book than I care to admit. This is definitely a character building book you must read for yourself! Incredible book with a profound message! Highly recommend!!!

Boy, I had no idea how much crap I needed to unlearn. This book is a must-read with actionable takeaways as wells as powerful insights that really make you think. I had so many a-ha moments but more importantly, it made me reflect on areas that need focus both personally and professionally. I would give it 6 stars if I could!

Beyond the Work

I’m a mother, grandmother, cook, traveler, and lifelong learner. Humor, curiosity, and reinvention are at the heart of everything I do. I believe in building systems that make freedom stick, so women can live boldly, love deeply, and leave legacies that last.

I’m also a Manifestor in Human Design and a Gemini, wired to challenge the status quo, spark new ideas, and create what doesn’t yet exist.

It’s in my nature to question, to push boundaries, and to build what others talk about.
